Dr. Naghavi explained why EXCIDA 56 is a distinguished and not-to-be-missed dental event:

“On 17-20 May 2016, 56th Exhibition and Congress of Iranian Dental Association (EXCIDA 56) in conjunction with the First FDI Persian Regional Congress & 34th ICOI World Congress will be held in Tehran at ICC of the Islamic Republic of Iran (known as the Hall of Islamic Countries Summits) and Tehran International Permanent Fairground.

EXCIDA is the leading and largest continuing professional development event for dental professionals and the most established combined dental congress and exhibition in Iran held annually offering attendees the vast ranging selection of dental services and products through the fantastic array of prominent companies from dental industry.

EXCIDA welcomes 5000 registered attendees and more than 5000 exhibition visitors each year. As it is an ideal place for perfecting clinical skills and enhancing the success of dental career, the number of attendees to this nationally recognised event has been steadily growing over the years.
EXCIDA 56 is a unique event in the Middle East and Central Asia as it brings together world class leaders in dental practice, research and industry to present highest possible standard in continuing education and features dental industry’s premier event in the region.

Iran is the second largest economy in the region, with an estimated Gross Domestic Product in 2014 of US$406.3 billion. It also has the second largest population of the region, with an estimated 78.5 million people in 2014 and following Iran and 5+1 agreement on July 2015 and successfully implementation of JCPOA, all US, EU and UN sanctions on Iran will be lifted by March-June 2016 resulting in opening doors to world prominent manufactures and mother companies and national economic blossoming.
Iranian Dental community represents 32000 registered dentists and 13 dental associations nationwide while 3000 dental professionals through 60 accredited national dental faculties are graduated annually. More than 400 dental dealers actively participate in EXCIDA each year and it is estimated following lifting sanctions, the number increases considerably.
There is an increasing demand for up-to-date dental technology in lifted sanction era and EXCIDA 56 will be the promising gate which bridges world dental industry to this market. Face-to-face interacting with customers, brand promoting, generating more dealers in Iran and reaching a large audience are rewarding benefits of exhibitors.

An official letter of invitation to attend EXCIDA 56 will be sent upon written request. This invitation is intended to facilitate the participant’s travel and visa arrangements but does not extend financial support. Attendees can apply for visa through Iranian embassies in their homeland or benefit from facilities provided by EXCIDA through accredited travel agencies.
Attendees are advised to bring cash into Iran as international credit and debit cards can not be used in Iran. However, EXCIDA provided facilities for smoothly currency exchange.
